A brand new season of the Yea Cruise Night has commenced following their winter hiatus. There was a great turn-out of fantastic vehicles and the weather turned out to be perfect, despite predictions. The event is held on the second Saturday of each month, during daylight savings time. They welcome enthusiast vehicles regardless of age, make or model. For car lovers, the event is fantastic, with so many different vehicles to see, and like-minded people to chat to. The regular attendees also get to make new friends along the way. The event is a vital fundraiser for the Yea Community House, and has become a mainstay on Yea’s summer event calendar. Other community groups Are also involved, running sausage sizzles and similar. This month, it was Yea Rotary Club’s turn, and they were certainly kept busy, as were the food businesses on High Street. The event brings the streets of Yea alive with colour and movement and a lot of fun for everyone. It also brings plenty of tourists to town, for a fun-filled evening in a family atmosphere The next Yea Cruise Night will be on Saturday, November 7.
