Matches are now best of five sets (first to win three sets). In the Monday night competition: Lachie defeated Holly 3 sets to 0; Jeremy defeated Eric 3 sets to 0; Will defeated Liane 3 sets to 0; Jess defeated Sally 3 sets to 1; Mark defeated Mick 3 sets to 0; Daniel defeated John 3 sets to 2. Daniel and John’s match was intensely contested throughout, and this was reflected in the highest number of rallies of any match this week; 132. In the Wednesday night competition: Beth defeated Sam 3 sets to 0; Nicole defeated Bec 3 sets to 0; Lizzie defeated Laura 3 sets to 0; Sam defeated Travis 3 sets to 1; Chris defeated Nathan 3 sets to 1; Phil defeated Justin 3 sets to 0; Andrew defeated Ben 3 sets to 2.
