THE Alexandra Secondary College Music Department will hold their semester two concert on Tuesday, November 29 from 6pm, showcasing the wide variety of talent the students have been developing over 2022.
Entry is a gold coin donation and it will be held in the Alexandra Secondary College Student Shelter. There is no need to register and attendees can rock up on the day.
With everything from solo items all the way through to full rock and concert bands, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
The concert will also feature the final performance of year 12 student James Whybrow, who has just completed his exams, including a very successful music performance study.
The night is planned to run like a music festival with staging outside and the audience can bring their own chairs or picnic rug to enjoy the music on the newly landscaped area on the Nihil Street side of the school.
Attendees can also bring their own food and drinks so pack a picnic and enjoy some entertainment with your dinner as you watch the various performances from the students.
Over the previous years when this event has been attempted the weather has unfortunately forced the event to either move inside the hall or to face the performers in towards the school where there is shelter for the audience.
Everybody involved is crossing their fingers and hoping for some incredible weather to accompany the awesome performances expected.
Everybody in the community is invited to come down to support the hard working, talented students and enjoy their music at a great night for all.
