Alexandra 17.4 – 106 defeated Yarra Glen 5.6 – 36

ALEXANDRA travelled to Yarra Glen last Saturday for round seven of the Outer East League 2024 Division One season, the reserves taking to the field with nearly 20 players unavailable for selection across the two teams, bolstered by the return of Drew Coller and Callan Howell from the under 18s at Euroa, together with some experienced campaigners including Ben Broadway and trim Levi Ronalds, as well as several senior players helping out the team.

THE seniors and reserves players lined up to acknowledge Yarra Glen stalwart John Herbert who passed away last year, and the unveiling of signage on the wing.

C grade lost 6 to 77: Incentive: Sophie Coward; Corner Hotel / Grant St Grocer: Himali Collins; Alpine Butchery: Kate Broadway.

D grade won 24 to 21: Incentive: Ash Frankcombe; Corner Hotel / Grant St Grocer: Reagan O’Toole; Alpine Butchery: Emily Van Lierop.

Thursday’s Rebel Raffles started last Thursday and the club thanks its sponsors.
