Homewood CFA celebrates 113 years

THE Homewood community and friends celebrated a night of history, fellowship and celebration at their first Homewood Progressive Dinner since COVID-19.

This main fundraiser for the Homewood CFA and hall commenced in 1970 as an annual event attracting as many as 300 people of all ages. It’s truly a progressive night, with all three dinner courses at different venues followed by a dance in the hall with the Homewood ladies doing all the catering. In recent years, it has been a bi-annual event which still attracts large numbers and only the entrée course away from the hall.
