What the flake is happening at Lake Mountain?

IN the last year, Murrindindi Shire has been economically impacted by the decision to end native timber harvesting and the upcoming closure of VicForests. A further challenge may soon impact the area, with changes coming to the operations of Lake Mountain.

The changes, which were outlined in last week’s edition, include an additional fee of $20 per person to access the main toboggan area (except children aged five and under), and the closure of the mountain on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, except during school holidays and on public holidays.
