IT was a big day at Rebel Park last Sunday, with the under nine, 10, and 12 footballers, along with all the junior netball teams, taking to the courts and fields in front of a supportive home crowd.
The under nine and under 10 played with plenty of enthusiasm and energy against Broadford. While scores aren’t officially recorded at this level, every player gave it their all and played like superstars. The smiles, teamwork, and spirit on display were exactly what junior footy is all about, well done to all the kids, coaches, and families involved.
Under nines: Fletcher Lynch, Lincoln Conway, Cohen Pearce and Declan Heard.
Under 10’s: Nate Carter, Koby Williams, Baxter Lamaro and Zac Stephens.
THE under 12 footballers continue to build momentum, with numbers steadily increasing each week. This round, the team proudly welcomed four new players to the side, a fantastic sign for the future of the group…
THE under 16s hit the road last week, travelling to Princess Park in Shepparton to take on a strong Echuca side. With only 15 players available, including Jaidyn stepping up from the Under 14s, the Rebels knew they were in for a challenging day.
