Wire-Lok the new fencing solution

JACK McMaster is the man behind Wire-Lok, an innovative simplified and efficient way to join fencing wire for farmers.

According to Jack, traditional fencing methods were prone to constant repairs due to old, ruined or newly broken fences.

The Wire-Lok offers a reliable and long-lasting solution, reducing the time and effort spent on fence maintenance.
“It’s like a gripple, the same sort of deal except there’s no moving parts, there’s no plastic in it. It’s a fool-proof way of joining wire. With a gripple there’s a lot of things that can go wrong.

They always let go,” Jack said.
“I wanted a product that was good peace of mind and that would work for a long time.

“I think the main purpose of Wire Lok is to have old wire that has slackened over time from constant kangaroo activity or a tree branch that hasn’t broken the wire, but has stretched it, and you don’t have enough wire to tie a new knot, the Wire Lok is perfect for that. You can retighten them.”

Jack grew up on a beef cattle farm in the Highlands and has a background in metal fabrication and engineering.
