GUESTS were treated to an amazing array of food, and of course hot drinks, impeccably served, at the completion celebration for the Menzies Support Services Brewability course.

Acting Menzies Support Services CEO Kellie Fielder welcomed the guests at the event. She explained that at the start of the year, some of the staff and clients were working on vision boards and Jenna suggested working in a café.

As a result, they started looking at how this could happen and how they could develop tangible skills in the area, such as learning to be a barista. With all of the clients on board, “We went on a mission to make it happen,” Kellie said.

They were able to access support via the Workforce Training Innovation Fund on behalf of the Murrindindi Health Network and they were able to access bespoke training and funding to support the request.

Brewability is about building skills “one cup at a time” and through it, a new partnership evolved with Ciri Services.
