Grand final wins for Yea under 11 and under 15 netballers

IT was a miserable weather day at Kings Park in Seymour on Sunday, but that didn’t stop Yea Football Netball Club’s under 11 and under 15 junior netball teams from being on fire.

The under 11s played a very tight contest, as expected, against St Mary’s. These two teams have battled in close games all season, and this match was no exception, with Yea victorious by just one goal.

It was an awesome game, and the club congratulate St Mary’s on a hard-fought Grand Final and some great matchups throughout the home-and-away season.

The under 15 result wasn’t as close on the scoreboard, but the Seymour Lions took it right up to the girls before going down by 10 goals in the end.

Grand Finals do not come around that often, and to be in a winning one is…
