ON Thursday and Friday, October 16 and 17, many hands made light work at the packing of boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The event was held at the Oasis Church in Alexandra, with people coming from far and wide to help out.

Around 15 people helped with the packing, with people coming from Melbourne, Seymour and Shepparton.

Organiser Judy Peters has been taking part in the event for over 15 years and was pleased to report that they will have packed around 600 boxes, to be sent to children in a range of countries including Cambodia, Philippines, Fiji, Solomon Islands and hopefully Ukraine.

Judy wanted to thank everybody who donated…
