THE forecast was for 30 degrees last Tuesday at Alexandra Golf Club, and Brad was dragged kicking and screaming to an early tee-off.

In the end, it did get to 28, and most of the six players agreed that it was a good decision.

With the greens still highly unpredictable due to the scarifying, the scores were not quite what you might expect. Leo Dynes made the best of the conditions, and won the day with 33 points, with Bill Wind second on 32 and John Mosley in third with 30…
