Junior netball returns for Yea Tigers

JUNIOR netball is back, with round one of the Goulburn Murray Junior League kicking off last weekend. The Yea Tigers are thrilled to field two Under 13 teams this season, highlighting the continued strength of junior netball in the Yea community.

The Under 13s took to the court last Friday night under lights, with both teams settling well into new player combinations.

Yea Yellow faced St Mary’s Yellow, with the final score not reflecting the team’s strong effort. Yea Black had a tough contest against a strong Broadford Blue outfit, going down by just one goal in a tightly fought match.
