ALEXANDRA District Health (ADH) has been thanked for its swift, coordinated and compassionate response to the bushfire emergency that swept through the region on January 9, an event that has caused significant disruption and distress across the whole Murrindindi community.

While many local families and staff faced personal losses, including damage to homes, farming properties, fencing and livestock, ADH became a refuge and point of stability during the crisis.
