NINETY-one year old Bob Gillespie will be playing The Last Post at this year’s Alexandra Anzac Day service, a role he first took on aged eleven.

He explained that he started playing in a brass band aged nine. His mother was a music teacher before she married, teaching piano and violin, so there was already music in his blood.
