THE Alexandra Opportunity Shop recently completed its May contributions to a number of community organisations.

The opportunity shop’s support of Kellock Lodge continues to be a focus. However, other organisations regularly benefit and a total of $33,925 was provided.

Recipients were Darlingford Nursing Home, which received $15,000 towards the replacement of curtains and purchase of comfortable chairs, the Alexandra Cemetery Trust received $5800 to assist with completion of the gazebo and three park benches, Eildon CFA received $4125 for a motorised roller door shutter, Thornton CFA received $3000 for purchase of a thermal imaging machine, and $1000 went to the Alexandra CFA Group.
