EILDON Bowling Club had a fantastic week of bowling.

On Tuesday, March 5, the Midweek Pennant Side, division four had a spectacular win over East Shepparton at Euroa, winning on all three rinks and getting up by 34 shots.

The standout rink won by 23 shots, skippered by Ray Holt with Graeme Barber, Ian Uthenwoldt and Gayle George. It was an outstanding effort by all the bowlers on for the midweek team who brought home the first premiership flag of the week.

On Saturday the weekend pennant teams in divisions four and seven played their individual Grand Finals at Shepparton Park. Division seven bought a valiant battle but ultimately fell to Mooroopna Golf by 12 shots on the two playing rinks. They were beaten by a better side on the day but can hold their heads high as runners up.

Division four played Euroa and took ascendency early, going in to lunch in a very strong leading position. After lunch Euroa put up a great fight, but were no match for the very motivated Eildon team chasing
