Koriella Fire Brigade celebrates 75 years of operation

THE Koriella Fire Brigade celebrated 75 years of operation last Sunday, as well as presenting service awards to members of the brigade and a life membership to Patrick McVeigh, for his outstanding contributions to the brigade.

Member for Eildon Cindy McLeish presented Captain Scott Reeves with a framed certificate recognising the Koriella Fire Brigade’s 75 years of operation.

CFA District 12 Commander Justin Dally then presented brigade members with service awards, in the form of both certificates and medals, celebrating their contributions to the brigade.

Cinamon Cunningham received a five-year certificate of service, Alastair Gerrey received a five-year certificate of service, Tiffinie Reeves received a 20-year service medal, and Scott Reeves received a 20-year service medal.

Patrick McVeigh was presented with a life membership, recognising his years of service to the brigade, including his time as captain and various other important roles.
