Murrindindi’s Blue Tree

LAST Friday, March 15, in the shadows of the evening sun, the last licks of paint were applied to Murrindindi’s first Blue Tree.

Goulburn Valley Suicide Awareness Group (GVSAG) volunteers were joined by others from across the shire and helped along by people from Neffy’s We Listen based in Shepparton.

Painting the Blue Tree celebrates the opening of the ‘Walk and Talk Project’ being undertaken in the shire. One component of this project is a support group gathering on the last Saturday of each month at the Yea RSL rooms.
