From January to March, council invited residents to nominate local individuals or community groups whose volunteering efforts inspire them. They received an impressive 45 nominations across four Community Award categories: Volunteer of the Year, Young Volunteer of the Year, Senior Volunteer of the Year, and Community Group or Initiative of the Year. These are the candidates

CURRENT Murrindindi Shire residents aged 26 to 64 years (at May 19, 2025, start of National Volunteer Week).

Senior Volunteer of the Year Nominees

Community Group of the Year Nominees

COMMUNITY groups or initiatives by a group, event, campaign or movement. Individuals are not eligible for this category.
