Alexandra 10.13-73 defeated Pakenham 6.7-43

THE Rebels extended their undefeated run to eight with a 30-point win over Pakenham in the second semi-final at Yarra Glen to go straight through to the Grand Final.

After finishing third at the end of the home and away, in the two finals to date the Rebels have defeated the side that finished second by 24 points and the team that finished first by 30 points out scoring their opponents in the eight quarters played.

Their recent DNA of fierce tackling hard running and creative team ball use was again evident from the first bounce in a four-quarter performance with all players committed to an impressive win.

The Rebels line up for the game was: Goonan, Musgrove, Saggin, Collard, Heveren, Dundas, Correa, Halligan, Ward, Roper, Hill, Coombs, Andrews, Keath, Wallace, Steyger, Kapakoulakis, Heslip, Kidd, McDonald, Phillips, and McKinley.

Seniors

Pakenham 15.9-99 defeated Alexandra 12.8-80

THE seniors travelled to Woori Yallock on Sunday to do battle with Pakenham in the First Semi Final with the winner to play against Warburton in the Preliminary Final.

Bobby Massey and Kellan Percy were welcome additions to the line up however this was offset by the big loss of Tom Boots with a knee injury.
