Stellar wood auction for the community

THE annual Community Wood Raffle was was held on Saturday, May 24.

There was an outstanding turnout, with plenty to bid for. There were 36 trailers on offer from local community groups.

The event raised $12,040, with the top trailer selling for $710.

Over 14 community groups benefited from the wood auction. Alexandra Events’ main fundraising goal for their trailer load of wood is to go towards a doctors/mental health..
