Yarck Adult Riding Club a hit with riders and spectators

THE Yarck Adult Riding Club (ARC) hosted its February Rally, drawing in riders and spectators alike for a day filled with equestrian excitement and camaraderie. Under the expert guidance of equestrian instructor Janelle Pitts, 13 riders took part in a series of engaging lessons tailored to enhance their skills in dressage and jumping disciplines.

The morning kicked off with three separate dressage lessons, providing participants with invaluable insights and techniques to refine their performance. Following this, riders had the opportunity to tackle poles and small jumps, honing their skills from the previous lesson. As the day progressed, the challenges escalated with a larger jumps lesson, pushing riders to new heights literally.

Adding to the charm of the day was the idyllic weather, boasting a pleasant 26-degree backdrop that perfectly complemented the activities. Amidst the lessons, riders and spectators alike enjoyed a cuppa and morning tea, courtesy of Miffy. A big thank you goes out to Heath Vine for organising the equipment trailer.
