Yea Bowls Club busy over Easter

VISITORS to Yea over the Easter weekend took advantage of the good weather to spend time outdoors, with three groups hiring the bowls club facilities to play some social bowls at Yea Bowls Club on Easter Saturday.

One group of friends, who met in Yea, took the opportunity to hire the green and enjoy playing a game of bowls during their stay.

Another group of six also made a booking to have a roll up during the afternoon, then in the evening, 40 tennis players who had come to Yea to play in the Yea Easter Tennis Tournament, came along to try some lawn bowling.
