THE Yea Tigers Under nines burst onto the field for their very first game of the season against Broadford, and what a performance it was. Full of energy, determination and smiles, the young Tigers showed brilliant teamwork and a fearless spirit from the opening bounce.

PROUD to be a Yea Tiger. What a beautiful day Broadford showed for the first game of Yea’s 2025 season of junior football.
While there were a few nerves, everyone gave such a great effort to their first ever game as a team.
The standout for the coach, was seeing every single player on the team continue to give their best effort in an attempt to gain possession of the ball. The experienced players guided the newer teammates and everyone supported each other so strongly.

THE Tigers started off the season against Broadford last week, with Charlie Grant stepping up as captain for the round. Short on numbers they had a ‘loan’ of five players for each quarter from Broadford.
Yea’s team played well, demonstrated great sportsmanship and skills, and put in 100 per cent effort all game. Each player gave it their all, and with some playing their first ever game, Yea have lots of amazing things to look forward to throughout this season. The final score….
Euroa 12.16.88 defeated Yea 8.3.51

EUROA greeted Yea with sunshine, smiles and good sportsmanship, and a great game was had by all. Euroa loaned players and Yea played with an even 12 per side.
